Sandy Fletchall

Sandy is a certified and licensed Occupational Therapist with over 30 years experience. She has been a Certified Hand Therapist since 1991. She is a clinical professor in the Program of Occupational Therapy, University of Tennessee, Health Sciences, Memphis, Tennessee. Her concentration of practice has centered on individuals with trauma, including severe hand injuries, amputations, burns, spinal cord injuries. She has presented on state, national and international levels, been published in journals and written a chapter on Upper Extremity Amputations in the textbook, Ways of Living. Sandy is past chair of the OT/PT special interest section of the American Burn Association and is currently the President of the Tennessee Occupational Therapy Association.
Sandy recently became the first Fellow of the American Occupational Therapy Association with the designation of Innovative Occupation-Based Practitioner/Educator: Catastrophic Injuries. She is also the first Tennessean in the past 25 years to be chosen as a Fellow of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
